JB's Clearwater Beach Island Cafe

JB's Island Cafe, on Clearwater Beach, is a nice place for a laid back and relaxing breakfast. This is a great little place to start your Florida beach vacation morning.

Although not directly on the beach (so the view of the parking lot is not real romantic) the food is excellent and the prices are reasonable.

Located at 432 Poinsettia Avenue Clearwater Beach, FL 33767-2050, it is a block east of Mandalay Avenue, which is the main north-south artery on north Clearwater Beach.

We rode our bikes there from the parking lot at the west end of the Clearwater Memorial Highway Bridge. It only took about 12 minutes to get there.

The Ream Wilson Bike Trail will take you under FL State Road 60 (Gulf To Bay Blvd) so it is pretty safe traveling all the way.

The Island Cafe has outside seating on its small patio. We love eating breakfast outdoors on a beautiful Florida beach morning.

We split the Island Cafe Garden Omelet. It came with homefried potatoes and toast...and filled us up.

After breakfast, we rode our bikes north on Madalay Avenue to the pricey community of North Beach. There are beautiful homes to see and the beaches are uncrowded.

The sugary white sand and the uncrowded areas of North Beach make this a place we will remember. This was a great ride after breakfast at JB's Island Cafe.
